3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled on September, 20, 2012.
Appearance: This is a beautiful looking beer, the body is a slightly hazy copper with a dense tan head that has excellent retention and lacing is left on the glass as it dissipates.
Aroma: The aroma is disappointingly weak. Thereís a very light malt backbone with light pine aromas.
Taste: The hops show up much better in the flavor with some toasted malts, a citrus and pine bitterness thatís never overly assertive.
Palate: Medium bodied with medium carbonation with a slightly sharp pang to it.
Overall: The biggest disappointment I have with this is that this just hit the shelves and itís already two months past bottling. Disregarding that this is a decent IPA and I think it holds on pretty decently, it just doesnít stand out.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Ayotteís
Crystal clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly off white head that persists forever. Rich bready caramel maltiness Juicy earthy citrus and pine. Wish Iíd picked this up a bit fresher, but glad to try. And 32 oz for 5 bucks is a hell of a deal.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Iím not as into these "wet hopped" ipaís as I once thought I was. Theres really not much going on here. Itís basically a shit ton of malt with earthy aromas mixed in. I really canít pick out any hop aromas of any kind. Itís bitter but at what cost? I am not trying to be an asshole, but thereís just not much going on with this beer. Iím noticing this with a lot of these SN beers lately. I feel like their pale ale, torpedo, and all these harvest beers taste the same. Thereís just a massive subdued hoppiness and Iíve felt this way for a long time now. Torpedo on tap is pretty good but other than that, their ipaís just kind of taste lame. This could just be me, and it would suck if Iím missing out on something great, but as of lately, Iím just not feeling SN "hoppy" beers.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 ml bottle, vintage 2015, in Nevada City. Amber to copper colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of fresh hops, herbal and fruity notes. The flavour is also well hopped throughout, but the bitterness is not extreme for an IPA. A very decent and enjoyable beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour. Amber color, thin head, hazy. Lots of hops, some floral notes, some malt sweetness, and dank earthy undertones that seemed a bit too strong to me. Moderate bitterness, moderate body, oily mouthfeel. Nice finish with the earthy tones nicely toning down a bit.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Ultra-fresh hops from the Yakima Valley packed into a brew with a large enough malt body to support them. What could be better than that? If you love wet hops, Harvest has all the qualities you could hope for. Dankness, juiciness, oils, resin, grassy notes, sticky (bitter)sweetness, and intense aromatics. People who arenít usually fans of Sierra Nevadaís fans might be pleasantly surprised by the restrained bitterness and lower-than-average ABV. For the initiated, there are no surprises here. A great hop feast by Sierra Nevada. Go figure.
