Each fall, hops reach their peak flavor- bursting with aromatic oils that give ales layers of complex flavor and aroma that can only happen at harvest time. For us, fall comes twice a year- once in each hemisphere. This Harvest Ale features "wet" or un-dried whole-cone hops from Yakima, WA that are plucked from the bine and delivered to our brewery within 24 hours of picking.

Draft pint. Pours a clear burnt orange amber with an inch of white head and nice lacing. Aroma is pine, floral hops, and citrus. Real fresh smelling. Taste is pine resin, grapefruit, oranges, caramel, and some bready yeast flavors. Medium and sticky. Awesome.

Bottle to pint glass. Floral, citrus and massive rose petal aroma! Pours a clear copper with full white head that is moderately sustained and patterns nicely with webbing down the glass. Flavor is heavy rose petal with moderate, rich caramel. Moderate high bitterness and a very dry finish.

24oz bottle into tulip. Minneapolis. Appearance: Copper in color. Excellent clarity. 2 fingers of white puffy head with good retention. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma: Floral, citrus, earthy. Very pleasant. Taste: Well balanced. A mild bitterness in the finish. Not overdone. Palate: Medium body. Average carbonation. Pleasant mildly bitter finish. Overall: This is a nice IPA. Its not overly hopper of bitter - balanced and well rounded. The hops profile is nice. A very drinakable beer.

Pours a dark amber with a small white head and plenty bubbles, I believe it is unfiltered. Smells like a bouquet of hops, really quite floral almost sweet on the nose. Light bodied with nice amount of carbonation and the head gives it a creamy type of finish. Taste of lightly resinous hops, some grapefruit and grassy, earthy flavors in there. Nice mouth-feel and easy drinking, that’s about it.

A bit average bordering on disappointing. The aroma is lacking and the flavors are understated. Wet hop beers are just not going to be consistent, ever...

Pours a dark amber-orange with a wonderful white head. Aroma is sticky, funky hops. Taste is earthy, piney, woody, citrus, fruity, finish is nice bitter with more acidity. Not as good as the Equinox Hop IPA oh well... Still delicious.

Golden on pour, with a huge head that dissipates slowly. Hoppy, well balanced with malt and fruit aromas. Bitterness at start, then sweet, then finishes bitter. Fairly dry palate, but with a long finish.
