4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I am a huge IPA fan, however I have been disappointed with the wet hop and fresh hop ales that I have tried; until now. This is a wonderful beer. Pours a caramel hued light amber with a finger and a half of white head that took about a minite and a half to dissipate and left very nice lacing. Aromas of subtle caramel and fruit are stacked on a massive pine hop foundation with some citrus mixed in for good measure. This is thick and somehwat sticky on the first sip with simple malt and light citrus flavors and big pine hops finish that is wonderfully bitter then sweet then bitter yet again. Overall this is a superb beer, easily beating out the Alpine/New Belgium (which was the last IPA I sampled). I would stock up on this it handily beats out the Southern Hemisphere Harvest as well.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours deep Amber with a lacy white head. Nose is grass, pine and a hint of resin. Taste is full of resin and pine hops, bitterness is quite strong but has a little malt balance. Very fresh and full of flavour.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle pour at home with a packaged date of 9/22/15 ( 124 days old)
Considering the label says 100 day IPA, this is still quite good for a wet hop IPA.
Probably one of the better wet hop beers Iíve had.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Good all around, this pours a dark amber with persistent white top and some lacing. Aroma is subdued, but nice - earthy and resinous. Flavor is similar with a good balance from malt sweetness. Somewhat bitter, but very palatable finish, never too dry.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Takiey. Classic caramel malt and piney green hops with a touch of citrus, bitter finish. Nothing too exciting, likely past its prime, these Sierra Nevada imports are definitely overpriced for what theyíre actually worth...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
710 ml (1 pint 8 oz) bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Looks: Clear amber honey colour; One finger head with crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with active small carbonation.
Aroma: Fragrant Ale malt, with strong floral, citrus, honey, molasses, pine, resin, yeast, lemon and fresh green grass.
Taste: Mid to strong sweet Ale malt, with strong grapefruit, floral, caramel, strong molasses, strong pine, strong resin, spices, biscuits, yeast, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and strong grass.
Body: Medium body, slick and very oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: very solid maltyness in a quick thick background. Strong, fresh and bit green Cascade and Centennial dominate with strong grapefruit, thick slab of resin ooze and pine. Big sweetness being balanced by strong lemon. ďFatĒ but refreshing!
Hoppiness: Strong floral, citrus, honey, pine, resin, lemon and fresh grass in nose. Strong grapefruit, floral, pine, strong resin, spices, strong lemon and strong grass in taste. Bitterness is strong, very green-grassy and fairly tasty for a lasting, high astringent sweet-bitter finish.
After Taste: Quite dry, very grassy-bitter and quite refreshing to mouth.
Comments: Unlike the fruity Southern Hemisphere Fresh Hop, this Northern Wet Hop seems to please with lots of freshly-picked Cascade and Centennial and it shows in its strong citrus and green grass taste. Seems a bit too swwet and resiny, and hop bitterness is a bit overstretched. Still if you like a strong oozy IPA with dollops of fresh cut grass then go for it. I still prefer the Southern Fresh Hop more than this one. Happy New Year!

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had high expectation and was let down. It's not bad but it is also nothing special. Pours a very attractive dark copper with slight foam head that recedes to a thin film. Nose is...soapy? Not sure how to describe it, but it is not an IPA nose. And the taste - it is a lot of malt, and some strange hops - wouldn't quite call it bitter. It does linger. It's ok - but I'd rather have a Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Weird taste, straight up didn't like it. Doesn't taste like an ipa to me. Maybe I just don't like fresh hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Ayotteís
Crystal clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly off white head that persists forever. Rich bready caramel maltiness Juicy earthy citrus and pine. Wish Iíd picked this up a bit fresher, but glad to try. And 32 oz for 5 bucks is a hell of a deal.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Iím not as into these "wet hopped" ipaís as I once thought I was. Theres really not much going on here. Itís basically a shit ton of malt with earthy aromas mixed in. I really canít pick out any hop aromas of any kind. Itís bitter but at what cost? I am not trying to be an asshole, but thereís just not much going on with this beer. Iím noticing this with a lot of these SN beers lately. I feel like their pale ale, torpedo, and all these harvest beers taste the same. Thereís just a massive subdued hoppiness and Iíve felt this way for a long time now. Torpedo on tap is pretty good but other than that, their ipaís just kind of taste lame. This could just be me, and it would suck if Iím missing out on something great, but as of lately, Iím just not feeling SN "hoppy" beers.
