COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each fall, hops reach their peak flavor- bursting with aromatic oils that give ales layers of complex flavor and aroma that can only happen at harvest time. For us, fall comes twice a year- once in each hemisphere. This Harvest Ale features "wet" or un-dried whole-cone hops from Yakima, WA that are plucked from the bine and delivered to our brewery within 24 hours of picking.

draft at hollingshead. in my opinion, a decent beer. sweet and slightly hoppy. not very impressed with the fresh hops tag though. seemed to be overly malty and cereal-like with no real hop finish. maybe give this one a year to age.

Golden on pour, with a huge head that dissipates slowly. Hoppy, well balanced with malt and fruit aromas. Bitterness at start, then sweet, then finishes bitter. Fairly dry palate, but with a long finish.

On tap. Pours a copper color. Aroma is lite, more malty than hoppy. Taste is light, malty and hoppy. A tad dank, very light. Remember it being happier, maybe because of the keg?

"another harvest ale from SN that i like better than most of their regulars. bigger, thicker body. almost chewy hops. cascades are very aromatic and the beer is well balanced between citrus bitterness and sweet malt. week old growler fill from Sierra Taphouse."
