COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each fall, hops reach their peak flavor- bursting with aromatic oils that give ales layers of complex flavor and aroma that can only happen at harvest time. For us, fall comes twice a year- once in each hemisphere. This Harvest Ale features "wet" or un-dried whole-cone hops from Yakima, WA that are plucked from the bine and delivered to our brewery within 24 hours of picking.

24-oz bottle. Big off-white lasting head. Coppery clear body with medium carbonation. Pine resin and tropical fruits in the aroma. Dry but with medium caramel sweetness. Hops are a nice blend of citrus, pine and grass. Does the wet hop process increase the mellowness and character of the hops? Aftertaste settles quickly into piney bitterness. Medium body. Soft mouthfeel. Equally good warm or cold. A very nice brew. Not the kind that punches you in the mouth. More like a wet kiss. Nice!

Bottle, bought @YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours clear dark chestnut golden with a large, staying, frothy off-white head. Aroma has sweet malts, light caramel, grass, grapefruit, pine. Low carbonation, dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has fine sweet malts, light caramel, some grass, solid bitterness, grapefruit, piney hops. Fine.

Pours a clear gold. Has a faint grain and light citrus hop aroma. A grainy flavor with malts, caramel, hops, and an overall earthy dry taste. Tasted more like a mix of random things than a true IPA.

Pour on tap, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big pine, resin, some slight orange and citrus notes into a bit of biscuit, bread, some nice lemon comes in as well. Taste was a mix resinous, grassy, herbal notes with some pine, sweet orange in there into a bit of biscuit, spice, and lemon, finishing bitter.
