KrausenJockey (561), Stockton, California, USA Feb 29, 2008 Nice garnet amber color with a full firm head. Big munich malt flavors with a definative West coast hop twist on an Oktoberfest beer. anders37 (2515), Malmö, Sweden Jan 18, 2008 Draught @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a clear dark amber color with longlasting off-white head. Malty bready and slightly fruity aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with some caramel hints. Sweetish malty hoppy finish. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 03/22/1997

very dark brown, fine tan head leaving a trail of thick lace in its wake, light sweet malt aroma with just a hint of hops, dry malt flavor with a touch of bittering hops coming out at the end, a hint of an ester in the finish, a little off style wise, but tasty

CaptainCougar (4608), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 21, 2006 Sampled on 10/11/06: Pours a clear copper mahogany with a nicely-lacing off-white head. Rich, authentic Munich malty aroma has good grainy character and a touch of noble hops. Body starts fairly full and malty drying some toward a more bitter toasty finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable. aspidites (1268), manteca, California, USA Nov 18, 2006 Beautiful color of toasted chestnuts and well conditioned. Nice carafa and vienna malt nose with nots of roasted nuts and pralines. Full round mouthfeel with noticeable bittering hops. Clean and roasted finish.
