Ocktoberfest! I was pleasently surprised at not only the great palate and the flavor but the great sensation the the oktoberfest fills you with, if you want a party then just get a twelve pack of Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest.

Brown amber clear. Thick head and lace. From Sierra Nevada fall multi pack. Mildly dry, even palate. Only a fair pairing with roasted peanuts and salty snacks. Stands well on it own though.

Pours reddish amber-brown with a two finger tan head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, floral hops, apples, sweet malts, and some light grassy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice, above average Marzen that is both drinkable and complex for the style.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a medium eggshell colored head. Decent lacing, but the head fades into a film on top of the glass. Aroma of earthy hops, caramel, toffee and caramel notes. Flavor is rich, caramel, chocolate, and nutty flavors. Full bodied, average carbonation. This is pretty nice.

Solid oktoberfest but nothing here to make me want to purchase exclusively, will drink but other options are a bit more tasty

Bottle. Average Marzen. Wish it was darker in color. Has a nice spice, malt, hop balance. More bitterness than smooth malts. Want more malt and creaminess.

Solid marzen. Dark pour with decent head. Tastes great, touch of hops for a malt forward brew, typical SN quality. In the 2014 fall mix pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear ruby amber with a huge off white head. Aroma is biscuits and spice. Taste is rich caramel malt, buttered biscuits, bread dough and nuts with some mild grassy hops at the end. Very true to style.

Part of the 2014 Sierra Nevada Fall Variety Pack - $13.99 at Kroger in Marietta, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, dark reddish-amber body with a medium-small, off-white head. Smell: Bready, toasty, with a noted sweet-smelling element in lead of a little apple, touch of lagery yeast, and hints of spicy, scantly citrusy hops. Taste: Vibrantly toasty and toffee-honey sweet with a slowly encroaching floral, citrus hop character and spiciness. Medium-light bitterness that quickly, discreetly drops off, leaving it fairly sweet. A crisp crunch of caramel apple. Sounds carbonation tries to help alleviate some of the tongue-coating sweetness, but, well, it still finishes a bit sugary. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: It unapologetically pushes (even shoves) at the Oktoberfest boundaries, but, does so in a rather tasty, smooth, malty way, so, it’s rather hard to hold it against it.

Brown copper color beer with large tan head. The nose has marzipan brown sugar. Medium body with sweetness throughout, some nice bread notes, some darker malts. Good beer.
