Draft at Sippin by the River ’05. Lots of brewers sporting their fest beers. Sierra with an honest example of the style. Great malt, easy on the hops, clean fermentation.

Thin, light yellow color - looks unimpressive. Aroma has a dankness from a hop style of which I’m not a huge fan. Same comes through in the flavor, which while uninteresting, is fairly smooth. Pretty disappointing overall.

From 12oz bottle to dimpled mug. Pour is a copper color, thin sparkling white head. Nose is roasted malt, barley, caramel. Kind of light however. Taste is light bodied, mostly sweet. Finishes sparkly and crisp.

Looks like a wheat beer. Smells like an amber. Not bad for an Oktoberfest but still a little bland ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Translucent mahogany with a minimally sized white head. Very nice aromatic notes consisting of malt, caramel, toffee, nuts, and a wee bit of roast. Light bodied and quite smooth. Absolutely delectable flavour. Malt, caramel, toffee, nuts, vanilla, and nutmeg combine to create an extremely satisfyingly smooth marzen with some hop present during the finish.
