Brewed using 65% wheat malt and 35% barley malt. This filtered wheat beer is light blonde in color, light bodied and has a wonderfully clean finish. This is a great choice for craft brew novices and beer aficionados alike.

Not too shabby! Foamy, off-white head, with orange-yellow color and clear. Bitter midway, with a strong mango flavor and crisp finish.

I don’t normally appreciate wheat beers much unless they are nicely done. This one is simple, clean, and uncomplicated. Light bready malt backbone and and yeast profile with a touch of smooth hops on the clean finish. Wonderfully drinkable and refreshing without suffering from skunk-butt syndrome, as do so many wheat beers (even ones that are not supposed to be super crappy). I’d be happy to drink a six-pack of these on a hot summer afternoon.

Pretty refreshing wheat beer. A friend had a six pack of these in the fridge and it look better than a can of Bud. Pretty surprisingly tasty tho.

Draft @ Beer Revolution, Oakland, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small whitehead. Has a fruity wheat malty hoppy grassy citrus aroma. Fruity wheat malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty hoppy citrus finish.

On tap. Clear golden orange with a fluffy white head. A nice sessionable hoppy beer. Huge grassy, citrus, pine, and lawn clippings aroma and taste with a giant bitter bite.

Brilliant gold with a quickly subsiding white head. Mild herby aroma. Medium to light body with plenty of grassiness and wheat character. Dry hoppy finish. Great summer quencher.

12oz bottle pours crystal clear gold with a one minute long quarter inch tall off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up some tart citrus lemon and lime as well as faint sort of malts. The taste is on the vibrant side with a mix of lemon and lime citrus hoppiness that pulls up both bitter and flavor hops. It later picks up a pleasing yet mild degree of grainy maltiness that helps give it depth and character beyond the hoppiness. It ends with a good deal of citrus lemon to lime like hops. Fresh, crisp and yummy. Should be spot on during the heat of summer too.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a small white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is wheat, grain, not much else. Flavor about the same, light sweet, a bit of a dry herbal bitterness. Meh.

Bottle: clear light-yellow with thin white head. Aroma is wheat and dry grass with a touch of caramel. Flavor is wheat, bisquit, tart grass and a very light honey. Not my favorite style, but one of the better of this type, yet light in flavor and body.

Big thanks to LivMtdew420 for this local that I had never heard of. Bright yellow, transparent and looks like a light beer. Smells yeasty, not bad. Flavor is wheat and yeast but so darn light. I could pound these at a barbecue but at the same time I’d rather just have two pale ales. I was still quite glad to try this beer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-10-2011 21:22:55
