3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle pours crystal clear gold with a one minute long quarter inch tall off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up some tart citrus lemon and lime as well as faint sort of malts. The taste is on the vibrant side with a mix of lemon and lime citrus hoppiness that pulls up both bitter and flavor hops. It later picks up a pleasing yet mild degree of grainy maltiness that helps give it depth and character beyond the hoppiness. It ends with a good deal of citrus lemon to lime like hops. Fresh, crisp and yummy. Should be spot on during the heat of summer too.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a small white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is wheat, grain, not much else. Flavor about the same, light sweet, a bit of a dry herbal bitterness. Meh.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: clear light-yellow with thin white head. Aroma is wheat and dry grass with a touch of caramel. Flavor is wheat, bisquit, tart grass and a very light honey. Not my favorite style, but one of the better of this type, yet light in flavor and body.

Big thanks to LivMtdew420 for this local that I had never heard of. Bright yellow, transparent and looks like a light beer. Smells yeasty, not bad. Flavor is wheat and yeast but so darn light. I could pound these at a barbecue but at the same time I’d rather just have two pale ales. I was still quite glad to try this beer.

355 ml bottle. Rated on 21.10.2012.
Pours a golden colour with large bubbles and a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, floral hops and some citrusy notes. Flavour of grainy malts, wheat, floral hops and fruitcake. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Refreshing. Quite a basic wheat ale.

This is different beer than your normal wheat beer. It has a bit more bite and is a little more bitter than what I expected. It has a wood wheat flavor but finishes a little bitter.

12oz can -pours pale yellow with quickly diminishing white head and decent lacing. Nose is spruce. Flavor adds herbs and hay. Hoppier than I would expect for the style, but then again this is from SN. Very refreshing. Mildly bitter and not very sweet.

bottle-purchased a 6pk from BevMO in Livermore, CA-pours clear light orange hue with effervescent carbonation. looks like a golden ale or something like that. nose is clean grains, very very very lite hops, cereal and pale malt husks-just very grainy however, not bad in the slightest-very pleasant nose here. flavors of sweet pale malt, lite cookie, dough, and some very slight hop bumps on the finish. a very clean crisp beer that is probably SN’s least hopped beer i have ever had. reminds me of their old "Wheat" beer however, this is quite a bit better. Maybe i over-rate this beer based on my love of this brewery yet i find a very distinct and good hot weather beer here. good stuff!
