On tap at the 2014 Secret Stash Bash (Atlanta). Pours hazy golden amber with a weak, bubbly head. Flavor: sweet, sour and mildly bitter all at once. Great complexity with a clear bbl effect that still allows the main features of the Belgian golden to show. Bourbon does dominate the aftertaste. Strong flavor. O: unique and very interesting brew, yet not challenging. Partially hidden alcohol.

Tap at the brewery. Pours dark translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity. Med Body. Flavor is spicy astringent, wood, light vanilla and fruit. Then it finishes nicely oaky with a bit of apple. Strange that. Bourbon seems to disguise expected yeast. Bourbon is not over done. Extremely tasty.

On tap at the Torpedo Room. Wow, this was a booze bomb. The aroma is huge with alcohol, bourbon, vanilla and and some distant notes of dried fruit medley. The alcohol is strong and borders on rubbing alcohol. The flavor is spicy and boozy, but not quite as strong as in the aroma. Bourbon stands out along with some vanilla and fruit near the finish. Not bad, but too much hot alcohol for me.
