3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 flatmatt (888) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2012750 mL bottle with a very appropriate pressure warning on top. Cork removes itself across to the other side of the room once the cage is undone. Pours clear golden with many fine particles and a large but receding white head (second half of the bottle is very cloudy). Aroma gives yeasty bubble gum, clove, and apple. Flavor shows apple, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, peppery, and bubble gum notes. Mmm, very nice little beer here.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 SlovakSniper (2189) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 glennmastrange (1907) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Bottle. Moderate light bread and hay for the malt, perfume and lemon for the hops, light dough and soap for the yeast with unripe pear and white wine in the background. Head is average size, creamy to frothy, white with some slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky medium amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, between dry and watery, with a fizzy carbonation. Light and refreshing, with a nice Belgian flair in this tasty Belgian Strong Ale.

Pours a golden yellow with lingering frothy head. Aroma of sweet citrus fruits and very slight hop. Sweet but tart citrus hits the palate. Very dry and carbonation makes it very refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (4035) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tart citrus, tangy sugar and golden fruits. The flavor was dryish yet tangy with notes of sugar, candied fruits and yeast. Medium length tangy golden fruit finish. Medium body. Interesting.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mikey (503) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAY 15, 2013
The nose is full of biscuit malt, with a dose of Belgian yeast and citrus with a little bit of cinnamon and coriander. The flavor has a lot of malt and yeast character, as well as some sugar, lemons and oranges. The alcohol is noticeable but the beer is still easy to drink.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 nuplastikk (3353) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 13, 2013
750ml corked and caged bottled. Opens with a trememdous pop. Unfiltered yellow-orange-tan body, lots of rising carbonation bubbles. Fluffy off-white head. Pleasant dry noble hop aroma, some rustic, almost barnyard notes. Creamy yeast tones, delicate dryness. This is a really great, world-class Belgian Golden Ale. Bold in flavor, but captures the true drinkable lively effervescence. A really great beer.

Getting honey, hops, and a bite. Too bitter to salvage anything else. If you can avoid.. You would be wise !

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 junon (327) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Nice. Liking this one. I’m thinking hickma, pear, apple, and maybe hearts of palm. This is smooth and balanced. Wish I could rate it higher but it just doesn’t pop. Complex flavour and aroma are there but a bit subdued.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20 adamah (87) - - MAY 1, 2013
The nose was very yeasty with a little spice. Just like the name it poured a clear golden with lots of pillowy foam. The was mildly sweet with some bitterness of the front end. For the price I’d say its a decent smooth beer.
