4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the 24 oz bottle. Pours yellow hazy. Aroma is mild, mostly of Clove. Flavor has more banana and Clove going on. I think it is a pretty good saison.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml cork and caged bottle from Spirits Toms River. Poured a hazy sunburnt orange with an average sized foamy bright white head. Aroma of tangerines, mango, apricot, bread crusts, light spice and pepper. Body is bubbly with lots of carbonation and a rather full mouthfeel with a lingering tingling on your mouth and throat from the high carbonation. Flavor losses all the fruitiness that the aroma had and has lots of grains and cereals with light spice and pepper. Solid but the aroma and flavor are so different and I do prefer the aroma to the flavor even though it is not even close to style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A - Pours a cloudy and bright orange-yellow color with a huge layer of frothy white head atop. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of lemon and yeast scents. There is also a bit of light spices and funkiness mixed in as well.
T - Starts off with some lemon and yeast flavors and just a touch of light spices. Through the middle, the flavors get a bit stronger with a bit of banana and funkiness coming thorough. The finish is again a mix of rich yeast and lemon flavor with just a touch of bready yeast flavor.
M - Medium-light bodied with fairly strong carbonation. Feels very smooth and lively on the tongue with a nice dry mouthfeel.
D - Very drinkable. Not quite the complex balance of a true Belgian saison but very close. The mouthfeel is right on through.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Rating from memory, but what I remember is a nice solid saison that doesnít compare to the dupont I had right after. Just missing that nice belgian saison yeast aroma and pepper in the taste.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Serving: Draft at Fireworks. It pours a cloudy, dirty gold with a thin, white head. The nose is a bit of spicy lemon and a little graininess. Heavy on the tongue with an off metallic note. Cereals, lemon pith, and yeast as well. Dry on the back end. It starts off as more of a golden belgian and finishes just plain bad. This has to be better in the bottle.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Earthy hop, toasted grain/roasted amber malt, dried orange and tropical fruit.
Flavor: Earthy, light peppery flavor, ripe orange plus rind plus a blend of dried apricot and tropical fruits.
Comment: Firm but not harsh bitterness perceived more on the sides of the tongue rather than on the back of the tongue. Lots of body but drier than the body would suggest.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Revolution in Chicago. Pours a hazed, golden-orange colored body with an inch thick, dense, creamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, a light citrus, some pear, and a light-moderate malty wheat sweetness. Some banana, a touch of bubble gum, a light spicing, a hint of bread, and a light grass. Flavor up front is light citrus, Belgian yeast with a light spice, and some slightly bready, light-medium sweet wheat and pale malts. Some bubble gum and banana in the middle with a light pepper spice that kicks up just a touch in the finish. A touch of grainy malts, a light grass, and a bit more citrus before this finishes dry and clean with a light bitterness consisting of some pepper and grass. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium, smooth body and a soft, somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a very solid saison. Not the deepest Iíve ever had, but very well balanced, fairly complex, and flavorful. Solid citrus, yeast, and light grass all while staying easy drinking. Good beer.
