On draft. Good looking beer in the glass. Cloudy golden brown with a nice white fluffy head. Aroma was of grass, light fruits and bread. Taste was fruity, creamy mouthful. Enjoyable on a nice evening out on the patio of a restaurant. I enjoyed this beer very much and had another.

Pours a hazy golden colour. Great saison aromas of coriander, orange peel and other spices. Some citrus flavours and a grassy, spicy palate.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Small corked bottle. Pours golden orange with a slight white head that does not linger. Citrus aroma. Sweet fruity flavors with hints of cloves and peppers. Exactly the characteristics of a decent saison though I was still disappointed somewhat and expected something more. It was the cork. The cork made me think this was going to be something great. It was pretty good but don’t let that cork fool you.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Has a great slightly sour aroma. Taste is good but a little watery, seems like it’s missing something.

3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Sprout’s: Poured a dark golden honey liquid that appeared with slow rising carbonation bubbles and a normal sizing of fluffy foam head. I was sort of shocked to have to see that there was hardly any haze or dead yeast inside the liquid and I had even poured the entire bottle out. Aroma is bold with traditional witbier and saison like characteristics with the orange peels dominating the beer while whiffs of clove and peppercorns come through as well. One of the most appetizing aromas in a saison that I have ever found—wow. The drink delivers on the very same aromas that my nose had detected but now the peppercorns take over and actually makes this rather overbearing. As for the finish, the aftertaste seems empty and almost watered down. This was a pretty good saison but the pepper might have been too much.

on tap at seattle brewfest with sasuma mandarins. Clear orangey pour some film of a head. smells of big buttery yeast- some orange. Flavor is dominated by yeast some citric bitterness seems more like a trippel. Palate is a bit too far on the wet side.
