3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, roughly $3.79 at Anderson’s; thanks, Dad. Pours light copper; fairly thin, almost-fizzy head. Aroma is dry, tangy, citrus, grass, yeast, grape. Dry, tangy flavor; citrus, bread. Medium-thin body with coarse, lively carbonation. I’m not really getting the pepper here. Not blown-away but good for the style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Creekside Tavern, this pours orange–amber into the glass with a wispy head that leaves light soap ring lacing. Aromas bring forth a comforting nod to my grandmother's home... candied oranges and mixed spices. Favors of orange, melon, grassiness, and spices, finishing with a nice spicy wallop of herbs and a hint of salt. Very complex mouthfeel with a medium-full body and somewhat semi-dry palate. Nice saison here.
