This version has slightly less alcohol, bitterness and slightly more color than the bottled version. The hop varieties and malts used are the same.

Tap. Deep golden color with a foamy white head. Sweet nose, some grass. The taste is nicely balanced light hops and some caramel. A slightly bitter finish. Very approachable. Light/medium body, strong carbonation. Overall, a pleasant, easy beer. Great with food.

Pours a clear golden/amber color witn a thin white head. Aroma has mild earthy hop notes, bready and slightly caramely. Flavor has good bitterness and earthy hop notes...lightyl toasty malt. Mouthfeel is light and very lively and the finish is crisp and dry.

Bärnstensfärgad öl med gulvitt skum. Öven efter att ha värmt upp mitt glas så var arken dofterna eller smakerna, särskilt beskan så markerad so på flaskvarianten. Ändå en helt ok öl med balans mellan sötma och beska.

This was a lifesaving beer for me on a recent visit to Sanibel Island, Florida. I’ve gotten spoiled by quite good beer readily available in my local eateries. For some reason, the various restaurants we frequented in Sanibel (we didn’t get to all of them) would pretty much only have this on tap. Everything else on tap was macro quality, except one place that had Bass Ale. That being said, this is indeed lighter than the bottle version, but still tasty. Presented in pint glasses: golden color with a hint of copper. Persistent head, starting about 1/4 inch, working down to about 1/8 by the end of the glass. Noticeable flowery hops, balanced with a bit of malt and just the thing for seafood, IMO. Strangely, with the exception of one store (Bailey’s) that had the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale (as well as some nice Belgians), it was the only decent bottled beer readily available on the island as well...

On draft at the brewpub. I got the sampler which included this and realized I’ve never rated the draft version. It pours the same nice pale golden color (maybe slightly lighter than the bottle version) and a small white head. The aroma is citrusy and grassy. The flavor is more bready than the bottle with some citrus and hints of caramel. The carbonation is more soft as well with a smoother mouthfeel and noticeably less bitter. A classic pale ale.

Draft: Poured a light golden to hazy with white head. Aroma was slight hops and malt. Taste was crisp and clean with malt along with nice hops finish.
