Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Geen duidelijk aroma voor dit goudblonde bier. Witte schuimkraag zakt snel in. Hop en citrus aanwezig, zoals altijd bij IPA. Ook graan, naaldboom... Lekker bitterzoet. Voldoende film, medium body, levendig.

Bright orange looking beer with quite small head that leaves quickly, but still leaves some lacing behind. Scent offers citrus, grapefruit and some pine. Nicely carbonated, quite gentle beer. Taste has nice sweet malts at first, then turns into citrus and grapefruit and leaves some darkish pine forest feel to ones mouth. But maybe this could be more multidimensional, but overall enjoyable pale ale.

Have had this many times, have finally got around to rating it. A easy drinking beer, perfect for sessions. Well balanced, enough flavour to go along with easy drinking.

From bottle: light copper color, pours with two fingers of head with moderate retention. Aroma is rich with cascade hops with slight barley maltiness. Mouthfeel is sharp due to carbonation and hop presence. Taste is an excellent balance of hop bitterness (slightly peachy) and malty sweetness. Highly drinkable, an ideal session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

350ml bottle. Pours a clear, medium gold, with a white head. Malty, hoppy aroma, apricot, caramel, spruce, grass, spices, lightly yeasty, orange peel. Dry, medium bodied, mid bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty taste, citrus peel, spruce, grass, yeast, a nice hint of earthiness, caramel, faint notes of toffee. Well balanced, an easy drinker. Not exceptional, but highly enjoyable, and a style icon. (2013-05-08)

Generally my got-to beer. Don't bother me with domestics. If I want a beer and I don't want to think or try something new, this is where I go. Thankfully found nearly worldwide. Found some in Hong Kong even ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is the one that started it all for me, the gateway beer. Pours clear amber with a white head. Smells a little sweet a good spicy hop character. Taste is smooth citrusy hops with a medium body and a little spicy as well. One of my go-to brews.

2013/05/03 - Pours a clear, light amber/orange color with a foamy off white head the vanishes quickly, but laces nicely. Aroma is citrus, orange, floral hops and pine. Taste is similar to nose with a pleasant, floral hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel is oily, with a crisp, bitter and drying finish. Hop bitterness is present, but not overpowering. Nicely balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
