Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Slightly hoppy smell, taste is a touch of hops with a little bit of pepper, not a bad beer, but not my thing

Clear, light amber with a thin white head. Fruity aroma, not overly hoppy. Nice flavor, smooth for an ale, and not very bitter. Not bad.

Classic pale ale. Nice amber pour. Tropical fruit on the nose. Subtle hop presence and some sweet/toasty malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours quite dark for a pale ale. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, grassy citrus. Taste is great for a pale ale. Lots of citrus notes, more passion fruit, some bread. Very refreshing and tasty. This is how Pale Ale is done!

Aroma of first class American hops, grass and a little sweetness. The taste is a textbook example of how it is done. Grassy caramels with a little citrus leading into a powerful bitterness. This is a great, solid pale ale that always should follow you home from the store.

Bottle in the Three Mariners, Lancaster. Pours amber with a cream head. Spicy with resinous pine notes and passion fruit. Some grapefruit too. Quite creamy in the mouth. Refreshing and pleasant.

12 oz. bottle. Just what you want in a pale ale. A beautiful marriage of pine and citrus aroma. Orange and clear with a solid white head. Taste is clear, citrus.

Bottle as part of the snow pack. Bottled 9/6/14. No idea how I haven’t rated this, but tonight is the night. I’m sure with 4100 ratings of this beer my rating is going to make all the difference in how the world sees this beer. My nuanced critique will blow your fucking mind.

Rearranging the letters of "Sierra Nevada Pale Ale" unveils their secret agenda: "reinvade paella areas" -- obviously a call to launch an assault on Spain. How dare you, Sierra Nevada. How dare you.

In short: citric and fruity bitter beer. Aroma: citric and hoppy. Taste: starts soft but packs a punch of biterness in the end (more IPA than normal Pale Ale) Palate: bitter finish and very drinkable.
