Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Schiuma bianca, fine e persistente.Colore ambrato, limpido anche se con qualche lievito in sospensione.Aroma poco intenso e poco persistente con note citriche e floreali. Al palato corpo medio con il tipico amarognolo delle Pale Ale.Birra equilibratissima per il suo stile.

Still a classic. Pours dark gold/amber with lots of pillowy head and lots of clumpy lacing. Nose is spicy and floral. Flavours of cereal, some grapefruit, some pine. Taste medium bitter, light sweet. Full sticky body with lively carbonation and a lasting bitterness to the finish.

Pours golden with a white head that leaves lacing. It has aromas of spruce, grass, and a slight bit of citrus. It has flavors or spruce, citrus, and floral elements. It has a bitter, crisp finish.

Amber colour, thin white head. As ’beery’ as it gets! Sweet and floral aroma. It’s sweet, but with almost a bitter finish. I find it difficult to distinguish ingredients, but it is tasty.

Poured from a can dated May 08, 2015. Aroma has a moderate malt note with some light caramel and moderate toasted bread and nuts. Some light cracker and biscuit. Some medium light floral and herbal hop notes with some citrus. Pours a very clear copper color with a medium sized, moderately thick white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Medium high lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a strong malt presence of caramel and toasted bread with some lighter biscuit and cracker. Medium low bitterness with some herbal and floral hop notes and lighter citrus. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and surprisingly crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a malt forward pale ale with a lot more caramel presence and less hops than I prefer. I can understand this being a transformative beer in the ’80s but that 30 years ago, now it’s boring and behind the times.

Bottiglia da 0,35. Colore oro antico e schiuma scarsa e poco persistente. Aroma floreale e fortemente fruttato. Carbonatura appena sopra il giusto. Gusto di agrumi. Finale lievemente amarognolo di candito. Consiglio 8/10

Really flavorful for a pale ale. Citrus hops. Malt background. Easy to drink. Smooth. Good for summer.
