Dark golden in color with little head. Has a fruity taste, but not too fruity. It compliments its fruit flavor with a nice bitterness. Has a good aftertaste that leaves you wanting another drink. All and all a solid beer.

Pretty good pale ale. Didn’t strike me as one of the best, but it was solid. Being as widely available as it is I guess it was better then i expected it to be. Will purchase when in need of a descent pale ale with enough time to get to my local grocer, otherwise will probably head to binny’s or sams for something a little bolder.

One of my favorites, second only to Boulevard’s Pale Ale for Pale Ales. Very good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is the signature beer for Sierra Nevada or it ought to be. Golden bronzen color, translucent, small white head. Aroma is piney(yea did they say cascade), slightly peppery and malty sweet. Flavor is slightly bitter, but well balances. Full bodied for the style, this beer is a classic. Balanced(malt and hops) finish. Excellent beer.

a beer I’ve had a million times but never rated. deep gold color, perfectly carbonated, nice head with good retention. aroma of cacade hops and light caramel malts. well balanced and easy to drink-malt and hop in excellent balance. great beer.

A good american pale ale, a bit hoppy, but that is ok, I wish it was a little more balanced, but its the top seller where I work, and I’ve never had a complaint about it in five years! People like it, I agree, its a solid beer if you like a bitter ale.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Most likely one of the best American Pale Ales and also a very popular one as well. Great bitter taste and smooth contrast of flavor. Golden in color, Nice head if pored correctly.

draft. light brown with very little head that fades fast. enjoyable nutty aroma. understated dark fruit taste, might be peach or grape? but not overly sweet. balances out with a nice hop flavor. finishes well.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2007 The first time I had this brew I thought it was terrible, but I was wrong. It is a classic American Pale Ale with a nice flavor. Had a nice head to it and all in all was very refreshing. I had drank this brew a few years ago and thought it too bitter. Well I was wrong this is really good.

Bottle - Pale amber in color with a medium off-white head. Decent lacing. Strong hop aroma and flavor with citus apparent (Cascades). Needs a bit more malt for the proper balance, but being a true hop head, I don’t really mind too much. A good drinking beer; will buy it again and again...
