Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

What a great Pale Ale. Crisp and bitter. No matter how many you drink, they still taste good...

Bit o' fun in a bottle. Classic hoppy smell, but not over-bitter at the finish. Good texture and balance in the mouth.

This is a fantastic beer in every way. It has a great hoppy smell and strong hoppy taste. Yum.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2008 I’ve had on draft and from bottle. Both are excellent, but draft is rated here. Amber/copper, clear, huge tan head, nice lacing. Aroma of hops, pear, berry (?). Nice, sweet malt initially, then long, bitter finish. Definitely a stand-by at bars that carry it. Excellent cascade hoppy flavor (which I love). Finish is pretty bitter at first, but grew on me. One of my favorites.

Very nice smooth with a little bitter kick. This is very good but I like Boulevard Pale Ale a little bit more. Not as citrusy as I expected. Very Nice very drinkable and I would recommend it to anyone who hadn't tried it.

I love the complex bouquet when pouring a glass. Hard to believe something this good is sold at the local drug store!

This is the rosetta stone of beer, used to translate macro drinkers to real beer. It had been a while since I had one of these, and I think the quality has gone down just a touch. Still a great 'macro-micro'.

My favorite "available everywhere in the US" beer. I just had a keg of it for a recent party and it was a huge hit amongst even the BUD drinkers!

Classic West Coast pale ale. Signature Cascade hop aroma and flavor: citrusy-spicy bouquet with a grapefruit like character start to finish. Fine acidity with a nicely balanced maltiness (not to sweet, not too dry). Fine hop bitterness emerges mid-palate and follows all the way to the finish and aftertaste. Estery (fruity) flavors also emerge mid-palate that transforms into a yeasty-bready character in the aftertaste. A wonderfully complex and satisfying pale ale.

Very hoppy with a bitterness that is marginally fresh. Good overall body and flavor otherwise.
