4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The great safety net of beers. I call this one "default", this is were u go to when your at a restaurant & the other choices are bud, miller, corona, & the like. Many a meal has been saved for me by the SN pale. Nice color, smooth taste, & most importantly... loaded with hops.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2003 64 oz. draught, Kent OH Well established hop tones, rather the best beer on tap at this place. For what that's worth... Bitterness never too overpowering, nice underlying sweetness.

This pale ale is the staple that every other pale ale is compared to. Great balance to the beer, good hop flavor and aroma. A little citrusy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at local restaurant. Beautiful amber color with a small white and rapidly diminishing head and little lacing. Light aroma - hoppy with touch of malt sweetness and a faint soap smell. Intial flavor is malt with a burst of hoppy bitterness quickly kicking in. Long finish with slight metallic taste and lingering hop astringency. Nice drinkable pale ale and a good match for the cajun spiced food.

Ok head which ends up as a nice lacing. Floral, citrusy aroma. Color of a medium foggy orange. Microfine particle of yeast in suspension make is slighty foggy. Nice mild hops flavor with a finish that is slightly dry and bitter with a nice hops aftertaste. A very good pale ale that is a good refreshing summer brew. Also recmmend to those who look for a mild hops flavor in their beers.
