Light rosy pink, small white foam head. Bitter hops smell. Tastes like bitter ruby red grapefruit. Great flavor in a pale ale. The finish is bitter and a bit too long. Not bad considering Pale Ales arent my favorite.

Great floral aroma with fruit and hops. Light brown color. Flavor of hops, bitter. A good American pa.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft: very nice example of a typical West Coast PA. Nicely hopped with Cascades for a citrus finish. Just like I like 'em! Well done, but not my favorite.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2005 How does this make it onto the favorites list? This was nothing great at all.
RERATE: Clear light orange. Soapy white head. Hop aroma isn’t all that sharp. Smooth easy to drink. Clean palate with a raspy hop finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice citrus hops aroma. Clear, golden with a nice head. It's all been said before, so I'll just say that its an above average APA that I'd never pass up.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Average looking light amber. Some caramel malt character backing the cascade hop aroma of citrus and pine. Moderate bitter finish with a lingering citrusness. Solid pale ale.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Big hop aroma and bitterness. I know this is the defining APA but the overpowering bitterness wasn't well balanced or enjoyable.

Pretty good for an american beer, personally I think there's a lot nicer beers out there but thats just me. Still it has got an almost belgium pale ale feel, nice strong flavour and good colour. Fairly easy drinking.

Clear and golden. White head obviously had things to do cuz’ it didn’t stay around long. Grapefruit hop aroma lays nicely over hints of malt. Taste mirrors the aroma exactly. Moderately bitter finish. Nicely balanced and an enjoyable brew.

This is a great beer. It has a nice fruity, hoppy aroma. The taste is full, smooth, and quite balanced. I had this on tap at Jack Astors in Rochester, NY.
