Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

23.8.2013: Kuparinkeltainen sameahko olut aika nopeasti häviävällä valkoisella vaahdolla, joka jättää kivasti pitsiä. Jenkkihumalainen varsin mainio tuoksu, havuinen sekä eksoottisen hedelmäinen. Maussa humalaa, havuisuutta ja eksoottista hedelmää.

Pours a gold-amber with white head. A pine, citrus, and grainy aroma. Taste is very malt and grain heavy with spices and light citrus. A lingering grain aftertaste with some dry malts.

Bottle. Clear, amber color, small white head. Very resinous, pine, citrus aroma, somewhat spicey, peppery. Bone dry, medium to high bitter, astringent. Peppery, harsh bitter, astringent aftertaste. Full body, high carbonation.

The gold standard when it comes pale ales, and for good reason. Very refreshing, fruity, citric.

Bottle. Clear golden-orange body, medium white head, ok retention, some lacing. Aroma is fruity and juicy: orange candies, apricots, dried papaya, flowers and honey. Taste pretty much the same, only drier and with an appropriate amount of herbal hops. Classy.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2016 355ml bottle. Pours cloudy dark gold with little head. Spicy aroma, with some of that spice coming through with some citrusy hops and a very controlled bitterness. Very easy drinking but not at all exciting.

호피한 느낌의 페일에일. 뭔지모를 향이 있는데 허브향에 가깝다. 가볍지 안ㄹ은 바디감이 있다. 효모가 보이는듯하다.

Butelka 0,355l. W smaku słodowo-chmielowe, jednak w kierunku słodu. Goryczka niska do umiarkowanej. Przyjemny, chmielowy finisz. Nasycenie umiarkowane.

Named after the mountainous region of the Western United States, this beer is about as fresh as they come. Beer pours a snowy 2 finger head. Aroma of hops, pine and yeast. Tastes bitter and malty. Lots of green on the palate notably pine and grass. Hoppy citric finish. Very thirst-quenching and fresh. Probably the second best Pale Ale I’ve tried but definitely the best American.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a shaker. Nice golden-amber color with an off-white head. Nose of malts and a little hops. Caramel. Moderately bitter finish.
