4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A-- Pours a clear golden straw color. Few carbonation beads showing after pouring. Two finger off white head. Quite nice and thick. Good body to the head. Slowly recedes to just under a finger and leaves a nice, thick, slightly soapy looking ring of lacing with this. Good beer to look at.
S-- Toasted bread, Carmel, soft but apparent pine, orange and grapefruit. slight spiciness to this. Very solid backbone to this.
T-- Warm toasted bread, good dose of Carmel, orange, and grapefruit. Soft but gnawing bitterness in the back of the taste.
M-- Medium body, medium carbonation. Fruit really builds in the mouth. Straightforward but solid taste of orange and grapefruit. Touches of metal here and there that disappoint but a good long lasting finish. Slightly oily in front and mid but finishes bread dry with a good orange finish.
O-- Are there better pale ales out there? Probably. Yet, have they been this consistent for this long a period? Probably not. Forgot how easy to drink this is and just what a good, solid beer it is. Just a classy beer as it is.

The colour is copper and troubled, normal foam and average carbonation. I think that the taste is dry, the hop is present but not strong and the mix with the cereal is nice. A good ale.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cascade like you read about. Amber copper color with white head. Aroma is flowers, grass, light orange, and earthy. Taste is lightly bitter and medium low sweetness. Flagship in the style that is pleasant enough to drink.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
caramel, toast, resin, grass, citrus, herbs. lots of resin aromas. quite a strong aroma for a pale ale. amber, clear, minimal head, white foam, retention could be better. medium bitterness, lots of resiny taste, some caramel also. The tastes balance each other quite nicely. light body, oily feel, lively, long finish, bitter. This beer is quite expensive in our country. Found a cheaper one at 3,7 euros for a bottle- usually they cost from 4,5 to 5+. Itís more of an IPA for me but, if it were cheaper it would go like hot cakes

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at Piccadilly, BodÝ. Has a clear orange color with an off-white head. Fruity but careful aroma grass, grapefruit and pale malt. The flavor is also very careful with grassy hops, bread, apricot and some pine. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. This mustíve been an old bottle because I think this beer is expected to be more hoppy than this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from M&S. Wonderfully reliable pale ale. Aroma is full of classic US cascade, but the malt is there as well in a balanced ale. Colours of caramel. Long finish. Clear despite the bottle conditioning.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The first beer of my trip to the US of A! One of the original craft beers, so the perfect way to ease into the hardcore-hopped double and triple IPAs of the west coast. Easy drinking and well balanced, not one to knock you off your feet but a reliable and dependable brew. A reminder to commercial and homebrewers alike that sometimes simplicity is what works best
