3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
During the hellish-hot Alabama summer of 2012, when my A/C was broken, and I could not survive at times without having a fan blow directly on me while I sprayed water on myself, I would occasionally crave a good, cold brew to guzzle while I watched Dawn of the Dead.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was one of the better ones.
Keeping it slightly cool in the 6-pack, which was in turn inside a double-packed plastic bag, I partake of this fine ale that night the snake crawled out of my couch, and onto my leg (or was I drinking Yuengling in cans at the time? I canít remember as I was drunk and trying to catch that snake that to this day I pray was not a copperhead).
Quality stuff, and Iím happy to say that my local BP station carries it for a mere $7.99 per six pack, as opposed to a dollar more at the Kangeroo station across the street.
I am also about to tackle some right after I type this - tally-ho!

Smells hoppy and a smell of alcohol. Citrus taste with strong alcohol taste too, nice on the palate, looks great, a nice dark honey colour. Very nice Pale Ale.

Brown bottle, 350ml, tesco. Scent is slightly bitter pale malts, a bit like pilsner. Pours medium golden with a thin white head subsiding quickly. Taste is slightly harsh, too cold. Pale malts and a nice hoppy bite. Grassy, lime zest. Finish slightly greasy. Good

A 12 fl oz bottle with a packaged date of 17th March 2015 and poured into a pint glass. The beer poured an extremely clear copper colour with a two finger slightly off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving some stringy lacing. Mainly piney aromas along with some citrus lemon and grapefruit. Some bready malts also come through. Pine hop taste along with some bread, biscuit and caramel malt. Thereís also a hint of orange and some bitter finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, Iíd drink this pale ale again, but I do prefer my pale ales with a slightly less pine, and more tropical fruit flavours instead.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours golden with a good white head. Smells of grass, hops and cardboard(??). Might be old (as most American beers seems to be at Vinmonopolet) but still rather good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
W aromacie nieco herbaciane, żywiczno - owocowe, typowy Cascade. W smaku troszeczkę zbyt suche, lekko herbaciane, goryczka średnia. Pijalne i bardzo gładkie. Całkiem ok.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Bright clear gold with a white head that covers the top nicely. Carbonation is very nice - a strong steam of bubbles. The aroma is heavy on the pine with slight floral and citrus notes. It has a light to medium body with a malty caramel flavor that gives it a bittersweet finished.
