Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Clear orange with a minimal white head. High carbonated. Aroma is dried grape (a lot of it) and caramel. Flavour is fruity, spicy. Pleasant hoppy finish. Very drinkable and refreshing beer!

This quintessential american pale ale is about as close to the perfect pale ale as I can imagine. As other reviewers have stated, freshness is paramount with this one so check your julian codes. Classic cascade grapefruit character against the perfect amount of bready sweetness.

Excellent pale ale, refreshing yet full of taste. Nutty taste, but also pine and a touch of citrus. No bad aftertaste, only pale ale I’ve had without it. REALLY A great BEER, But freshness of your beer is quite important with this one. It goes bad when old. Excellent taste and texture, only thing that’s really lacking is aroma on this one. Really lacking in that aspect.

Pale ale comparison. Taste and aromas a bit mild. Pretty good and straightforward. Darkest of the few.

Poured from a bottle at Brendan's pub. Cloudy orange with white sticky head. Mild floral aroma. Good fruity and hoppy balance. I have had this a million times before getting into pale ales and IPA. Still holds its own

Beerenberger (824) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Aroma of citrus and pine with hints of biscuit. Pours a light amber with a small none lasting off-white head and no lacing. The taste is bitter. Toasty malts, citrus, caramel, with hints of pine. The finish is bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Crisp fizzy mouthfeel. Overall, extremely drinkable pale ale. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Surprised to see I’ve never reviewed the second most influential beer to craft brewing before now. It pours a clear, amber golden color with an unimpressive white head. Moderate grapefruit and pine nose. A nearly perfect balance of wetness, hop heat, and carbonation comprise the mouthfeel. Grass and pine flavors with a grapefruit bitterness at the finish. Quintessential APA.

24 oz bottle from Las Vegas Walgreens. Pours a clear golden colour with average white head. Lightly toasty bread, caramel and modest piney and citric hops. Flavour is toasty caramelly and bready malts with slightly spicy piney and citric hops. Modest bitterness in finish. Solid.
