Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Initial aroma and taste is nice, but getting a strong apple juice after taste, which seems odd. Still a decent beer for a good price, under $14 for a 12 pack from Sam's Club. Better craft beer is still worth the premium price though. The bottles I have are few months old. Will try fresher and rate again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with awesome off white thick head. Aroma of hops is too old. Mellow fruits, elderflower, bready malt, slight slight citrus. Taste is sweet malts, caramel, dry hoppy finish. Sessionable. Like it a lot when fresh. Medium well carbonated body. Some sediment.

One of the first hop forward craft beers that I tried back in 1994. A true classic APA. Still good. Light citrus and pine hops on a grainy malt bill. Medium-light body with a slightly sharp, spicy hop finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Fotex, CPH - amber coloured pour white head. Aroma and taste is medium sweet fruity and malty, pleasing hoppy citrus notes, biscuity caramel malts, enjoyable and dependable.

Bottle (just realized there were separate entries for bottle vs draft) - good size foamy head, light copper color, fair citrus and pine hop aroma and flavor, well balanced by biscuity malt, good overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Surprisingly dark orange color with medium-small head. A bit citrus and resinous in the aroma. Taste is sweet and a little bit warming, still refreshing and light. A good representative of the American Pale Ale Style, but also nothing too distinct.

Pours a brownish yellow with frothy thick head. Substantial lacing. Pine, lemon on the nose. Medium bodied, crisp mouthfeel. Tangy citrus, lemon peel, and pine. Great pale ale.

Cobber red light brownish beer with a small white head. Aroma of fruity hops, some zesty notes and a decent malt backbone. Nice and refreshing taste with especially notes of citrus, pine, malt and some fresh berries

Decided to try this one solely based off the fact that it says Sierra Nevada because I love mountains. Was not disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Huge off white head on a deep golden clear body. Few spread dots as lacing. Aroma of mild resin, floral hops, dough, citrus, fresh and inviting. Tastes sweet soft resin, piney hops, roasted malts, citrus - a moreish taste. Malty finish with some hops. Easy on palate, alright body, soft carbonation. Overall an easy am.pale ale.
