Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Damn good pale ale. A true classic in the craft beer world. For many a moon, I despised hoppy, bitter beer and this was at the top of my "hate to drink" list. Then something extraordinary happened. My palate changed and I started to like more complex hopped up brews. This beer has now become a staple for me. Very crisp and clean on the nose with lots of floral notes and big hops. Foamy white head leaves some moderate lacing. Mouth feel is slightly oily and medium bodied. Taste is lots of crisp clean and bitter hops with pine cone, floral, wheat grass, and honeysuckle to boot. The caramel and cereal also come through. A true craft classic to be enjoyed on a regular basis.

Arguably the first American Pale Ale and still, again arguably, the best. Perfect body, clean and refreshing, with a delicious bitterness throughout

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2014 One of the better easily available pale ales out there. A nice hop presence that delivers the typical flavours from cascade. Nothing special, but a good value beer.

Amber in color. With a vigorous pour, produces a nice big head that is dense and slow to fade. Slight haze. Aroma is that of spicy hops with floral undertones. Malt taste is understated and has bready or biscuit taste. Taste is that of floral hops and bready maltiness. Sweet Smooth and well balanced dry finish. A go to pale ale Drink well my friends

Bottle to English pint. Pours amber, two finger head, nice lacing. Aroma is floral, lemon zest and grapefruit. Taste is nicely balanced sweet malts and citrusy bitter hops. Medium body, low carbonation, slightly resin mouth feel. Finishes bitter but not extreme. Notes of citrus fruits, herbs and caramel malts. A nicely done pale ale!

Hazy orange colour, with a small yellowish head. Smell is hoppy, citrus hops. In the taste after the hoppy notes comes also a nice caramel malt note, with also some spiciness. Bitter finish, but well balanced, not too much. Medium/low carbonation. Very good beer.
