Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 22, 2004 A light amber beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hops, grass, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and dry with notes of grass and hops. The end is rather dry. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 15, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Apparently the Yanks has this love affair with Pale Ale or IPA’s, tell me, what’s the story behind this? Did a Pommie colonial ship bound for India get stranded somewhere in the Nevada desert? Light amber, slightly hazy. Nice creamy head. Has this magnificently refined aroma from the use of excellent hops. Pronounced but not overwhelming bitterness. Very well done. Now even imported to Denmark - way to go. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 5, 2002 One of the very first US microbrews I sampled. By then I was knocked over by it’s hoppiness, but immediately fell in love with the citrusy hop aroma, combined with the lightish body and overpowering bitterness. A couple of thousand beers later I don’t find it very dramatical anymore, just pleasant and balanced. yespr (7782), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 2, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours almost yellow with a diminished white head. Light peachy and grapefruit aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and grapefruity dry flavour following.
