Bartzilla (403), San Diego, California, USA May 26, 2006 This used to be the gravy, but doesn’t work for me anymore. If I’m somewhere deep in BFE and this is the best I can do, then it’s a godsend. Otherwise, I can pass. I’m guessing the 90 rating is a result of their penetration into the grain belt of the US, where beer is cheap and sheep are nervous. Now, don’t get me wrong, Sierra Nevada makes some totally bitchin’ brews, this just ain’t one of them.
GNome (26), England Nov 30, 2008 Truly a classic! A perfectly balanced and highly drinkable pale ale. teamrassas (9), USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 Just a graet all around pale ale. Medium hoppy nose, nice sweet floral notes. Some really good carmel notes on the finished layered with mild bitterness. bity (7), Pueblo, Colorado, USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 An Awesome beer! Taste floral, woody, clove, with a medium sweetness, medium bitternes and lively, full body. My go to beer! welho (3), Finland does not count Nov 29, 2008 Well, this is one of my absolute favors. I just like the dry and bitter after taste. Pinball (813), Allerød, Denmark Nov 28, 2008 cleat but a bit cludy yelloe, coarse white head,
