wyzzywyz22 (453), Wirral, Merseyside, England Apr 18, 2008 First saw this in the UK around 2003 and in those days it was a relative rarity. At the time i thought it was the best American beer I’d ever tasted, amd although that probably isn’t true now its still not bad. Pours a deep amber colour with a thin head that doesn’t always linger. Sweet, hoppy aroma and the flavour continues on this theme in the flavour with more fruit.of the citrus and berry kind..
Pretty tasty stuff and very drinkable. A really accessible and refreshing session ale that is standing the test of time for now and seems to be crossing over into the mainstream while maintaining good quality. Acknowledgement due for that and u gotta love the lime green label too....
GNome (26), England Nov 30, 2008 Truly a classic! A perfectly balanced and highly drinkable pale ale. teamrassas (9), USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 Just a graet all around pale ale. Medium hoppy nose, nice sweet floral notes. Some really good carmel notes on the finished layered with mild bitterness. bity (7), Pueblo, Colorado, USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 An Awesome beer! Taste floral, woody, clove, with a medium sweetness, medium bitternes and lively, full body. My go to beer! welho (3), Finland does not count Nov 29, 2008 Well, this is one of my absolute favors. I just like the dry and bitter after taste. Pinball (813), Allerød, Denmark Nov 28, 2008 cleat but a bit cludy yelloe, coarse white head,
