thejoeshow (167), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Aug 21, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a nice pale orange/golden color with a nice white had that is a tad lacking in retention but produces some nice lacing. Very nice pine and citrus hop aroma in the nose. Always a nice welcome before you dive in. Flavor is nice and easy on the citrus and has a sufficient malt backbone the balance the whole thing out perfectly. I have always loved this beer and it should be the example for other brewers to strive for.
GNome (26), England Nov 30, 2008 Truly a classic! A perfectly balanced and highly drinkable pale ale. teamrassas (9), USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 Just a graet all around pale ale. Medium hoppy nose, nice sweet floral notes. Some really good carmel notes on the finished layered with mild bitterness. bity (7), Pueblo, Colorado, USA does not count Nov 29, 2008 An Awesome beer! Taste floral, woody, clove, with a medium sweetness, medium bitternes and lively, full body. My go to beer! welho (3), Finland does not count Nov 29, 2008 Well, this is one of my absolute favors.
