Such a solid beer. Has all the right things going for it. Hops plenty. Not too sweet. Decent aroma. Easy enough to quaff but substantial enough to appreciate. Only downside is a slight funky aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Roti. Caramel malt, strong piney hops, grapefruit peel, long bitter finish. A classic one, maybe a bit too punchy and bitter for me but very solid.

Draft sample at their Mills River Taphouse; clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma notes of bright citrus hops and caramel malt. Taste adds pine and fruity hop notes. Light body, low-moderate carbonation, crisp, dry with light citrus/pine finish. I like the canned/bottled version, I also like this. Can’t go wrong!

Tap at Goodbeer Faucets. Pours quite clear amber, bit of white foam. Aroma is mainly dominated by hops, nicely balanced against strong malt backbone. I can understand that this was a defining craft beer for the whole generations in the US in the past, still nicely drinkable. Decent, with character and sessionable.

A mid Amber coloured beer with a weak white head. A light lemony aroma with a touch of caramel malt in the background. Dry mouthfeel. A light, citrusy lemon hop flavour to start with, then a mild caramel malt flavour comes through giving the whole taste a somewhat cakey flavour. All of which lasts into a lingering finish. Draught @ The 3 Monkeys, New York.

On tap at the NC brewery taproom where it is listed as "Draught Style Pale Ale". Excellent clarity. Deep Amber color with a very good head. This is not just lower in ABV. This is a light bodied and lightly aromatic APA. O: Drinks like a mild session pale ale.

Tap@Salhojankadun Pub, Tampere, Finland. Light aroma with malts, grass and some bitterness. Deep orange color with medium staying natural white head. Clear liquid. Medium/light taste with bitter malts, some citruss and a bit of hops. Medium balanced. Medium taste spectrum and medium bitter and hoppy aftertaste. Light body and medium carbonation. Overall basic pale ale: bit light in every aspect but in good fashion.
