Draft. Refined hoppy nose. Very well balanced hoppy mouthfeel. Not as punchy as some small microbrewery offerings, but clearly a well-finished ale, with no offensive odors or flavors. This is a beer that won’t win any tastings, because it doesn’t have any single overwhelming quality, such as extra hops (eg. Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA) or high ABV (eg. Dogfish 90 minute ale), but it’s a beer I can drink all night if I wanted to. Very smooth and refined.

On tap at The Angel, Highgate, London. Beautiful dark amber colour in Sierra Nevada pint glass. Lively carbonation. First time on draught and did not disappoint...

Draft @ DAL Doubletree. Faint hoppy aroma. Dark amber (slightly darker than bottle). Taste a tad more flat than bottle. Medium body. Overall, less impressive than bottle. May be bad lines here?

On tap at Mills River tasting room. As good if not better than the bottled version. Just ever so slightly sweeter and cleaner to me. Delicious. A true classic. Wish I had the recipe.

16 oz draft- Pours dark golden with the usual thin head from a bar. Aroma is floral, sweet light malt, minimal dry hops. Taste is similar, floral, dry slightly intense hops, sweet light malt. Body and carbonation are medium.

Tap. Medium bubbles, medium ivory head. Clear amber. Small aroma. Smooth, oily and dry palate. Strong hops, good maltyness. Surprisingly simple.

On draft at the Bier Markt. A dark amber, almost orange body, with medium sized white head. Fruity hops on the nose. Fairly crisp on the tongue. Tastes are sweet citrus hops, with an enjoyable pine finish. I could session this beer no problem.

pours clear golden, aroma has a slight balance with pine. Taste is nicely balanced hops, with pine but also a malt base.

Having at The Draft in Oceanside after a Shock Top. Oh what a relief it is. Great hoppy aroma great malt with slight slight bagel toasty. Real slight really adds to malt chapter. Great hop clean finish.

Draft at school. Nothing special, I prefer the bottle. This isn’t as hoppy, nor is it as bitter, which I think is in the description.
