Wow, I always seemed to notice a difference on draft but I never thought there to be two versions. Draft has the same great american hop aromas of citrus, grapefruit and a touch of pine but seems to be a little weaker in the hop finish. All in all, not as good as bottled in my mind.

Great beer to have in your back pocket when the bar doesn’t have other craft options. Long time favorite of mine. Should have a picture of the beer next to it in the dictionary when defining American Ale.

Draft in a branded pint glass. Lovely amber/polished walnut colour, big rocky white head. Drunk around a lot of smokers... Aromas of... Er, faintly polished wood? Tastes lovely nut sweet with a full, clean bitter finish. Very pleasant lingering bitterness. Will rerate once in a less smelly environment.

On tap @ Bottleworks. Pours light golden caramel with thin off white head. Aroma is pale malt and just a hint of hops. Taste is clean light caramel malt with a mild earthy hop finish. Nice light pale ale. Plenty agreeable but lacking the hop presence that makes the bottled version so delicious. Interesting that they call this the same beer rather than splitting the two beers out; not many micros do this anymore.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a white head. Taste floral, bitter. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Horrible Beer. Too complex. Doesn’t have any substance. Way too expensive for what it actually is. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Spina @ O'connors pub.
Ambrata sul chiaro con schiuma fine e persistente.
Amarognola, un po' di fruttato ma nulla di che.
Un po' deludente, comunque bevibile.
