3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ibrew2or3 (5741) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 25, 2008On tap @ the Oldsmar Tap House. Pours crystal clear deep gold with copper core and semi firm light tan head. A nice level of lacing was left behind in the glass. Very nice looking beer. The aroma at this somewhat chilled serving temperature is light with mild malts and some equally mild spice to faint grapefruit hops. The taste starts pretty neutral before some mild tart and bitter hops ride the initial wave of carbonation. The spice and grapefruit hop tartness and bitterness grows as the finish approaches. There is a light malty sweetness that hits midway and carries into the finish. It has a mild lingering grapefruit hop bitterness and faint maltiness into the after taste.

Huh, didn’t realize the draft was different. Just had a can of this recently and was pleasantly surprised - it had been a while. Floral hop aroma. Tastes are resiny cirus, pine, caramel malt. I’d have to try them side by side, but the draft didn’t seem quite as good.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bobroman (35) - Torun, POLAND - MAY 12, 2013
Not so intensive citrus hoppy aroma. Small short-lasting head. Amber body. There is some hoppy bitterness in taste but also not so intensive.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 retinadoc (98) - - MAY 3, 2013
Draft. Refined hoppy nose. Very well balanced hoppy mouthfeel. Not as punchy as some small microbrewery offerings, but clearly a well-finished ale, with no offensive odors or flavors. This is a beer that won’t win any tastings, because it doesn’t have any single overwhelming quality, such as extra hops (eg. Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA) or high ABV (eg. Dogfish 90 minute ale), but it’s a beer I can drink all night if I wanted to. Very smooth and refined.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 TobyMartin (15) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2013
In a tulip glass on tap at the Local Taphouse, St Kilda on 18/3/13. This is a really good beer but not as good as the original version. Pours a deep golden orange colour with a big white head that lasts. Has some sweet biscuit from the malts but dominated by a restrained cascade hop aroma with elements of citrus and grapefruit. A little thin in body compared to the original, a more sessionable version of their pale but I definitely prefer the original.

Sort of a dark amber pour with a white head. A bit maltier than I’d hoped, but still a nice citrus and floral hop character. Some pine and a toffee on the nose. The flavor is sweet and toffee forward. Some toast, bread, and mild caramel. Sweet citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, and mild pine. Light bitterness on the finish.

Really nice beer. I’m acclimatized to classic/traditional British beers and this really gets the taste buds going in a good way/ Hoppy by not too much, just really tasty.
That said, just ordered 2 pints from All Bar One in London, price tag as £10.20 ($15). Shocked at the price, but it was good beer.
