3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Enjoyed this one much more than the bottled version; more balanced and less hop bitterness. 24 karat pour with a solid 1-inch foam. Aroma is citrus, spruce, and caramel. The orange zest and grapefruit seems to be offset by a nice honey sweetness. Medium mouthfeel and good carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Biermarkt (Ottawa, ON). Amber body with an average off-white fruity head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with woody and spicy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty, citrusy, and woody notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Not bad.

(Tap) As pale ales go it’s pretty decent. Enough character and flavor to be drinkable.

Draft @ DAL Doubletree. Faint hoppy aroma. Dark amber (slightly darker than bottle). Taste a tad more flat than bottle. Medium body. Overall, less impressive than bottle. May be bad lines here?

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Mills River tasting room. As good if not better than the bottled version. Just ever so slightly sweeter and cleaner to me. Delicious. A true classic. Wish I had the recipe.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at the Bier Markt. A dark amber, almost orange body, with medium sized white head.
Fruity hops on the nose.
Fairly crisp on the tongue. Tastes are sweet citrus hops, with an enjoyable pine finish. I could session this beer no problem.
