This is a great pale bock that I enjoyed during a trip to Chico. Great flavor with a fruity finish. Overall, this one is worth the search for and I recommend it to all

Light golden hue, with sticky/frothy white head. Great lacing all the way through sample. A bit of fruit in the aroma, some graininess, and finally a bit of malt. Hints at some hop inclusion. Taste has pretty delicate flavors. Malty and a bit earthy. Hoppy dryness in the end. MF isSmooth and a little creamy for the style .Very drinkable, with nice but not overpowering flavors. Pretty balanced, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, decent

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company--Pale Bock--1999 Release--12 oz. Bottle--6.50% ABV. (4.0 / 5.0) Bock--Exceptionally clear pale pink golden color. Minimal floral accents. Smooth lightly sweet crisp body develops fruit ester profile midway through taste. Thick body is deceptively easy through finish. Sampled 7/25/1999.

Pale gold coloured body with not head at all! Aroma of pale malt and cardboard. Medium-bodied; Strong malty and metallic taste. Aftertaste bitter and strong - not sweet nor terribly pleasant. Overall, decent but great to finally try this one! I sampled this beer on draught at O’Briens in San Diego, California on 23-September-2006.

12oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing. The smell was sweet caramel and a heavy cereal malt. The taste consisted of an upfront sweet malt, with a flowery hop and a doughy finish. Afull bodied beer that was slightly too sweet, but still good.

On tap at BT. Pours a slightly cloudy light orange/yellow with a very small white head. Aroma of raisin, light fruits, honey. Flavor of raisins, lots of fruit, honey, honeydew melon, and some wheat malt. Very sweet. It was ok, the sweetness didn’t appeal to me.
