COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed using American hallertau and spalt select hops. Straw colored, and lightly hopped. Very refreshing and light bodied. This is a wonderful example of this traditional lager style.

Draft. Pours a golden body with a scant white head. Bitter and a mild hop presence. Drying with a light cracker note. An accent of honey among the sweetness. Alright.

On tap at Rattle n Hum during their Sierra Nevada event. Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Toast and some sweet crisp grain. Grainy and sweet, very earthy and gritty. Nice sweet citrus notes show up a little later. Lots of crackery grain. Long grain and light toast on the finish. Well done, but definitely not for me.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. Clear straw with a bit of off white head. Very faint aroma, bit of pale malts, some grassy hops. Smooth, light, refreshing, hint of bitterness on the finish. Nothing spectacular but solid for the style.

Tap at RnH: light golden with a thin white head. Clean crackery aroma with a light body. Dry, clean, light and slightly biscuity. Not as hoppy or peppery as I’d like, but still a solid session.

Tap at Blind Tiger. For how good their summerfest is (when fresh) I was expecting way more out of this one, but it fell short of my expectations. Pours a clear, dull golden, low to mod carbonation, low head, dissipates- no lace. Aroma is cracker, toast, some not-so-fresh malts, slight staleness, paper, a bit dull not crisp or bready enough and very low herbal flowery hops. Flavor is also a bit boring, although not too bad- just plain crackery malts, low bready freshness, low on the crispness, low hops- and a boring no-snappy crisp finish.

Part of the sampler tray at the brewery. Tought to judge based on two ounces, but quite enjoyed this one

Tap at the Blind Tiger. Dry, rocky, mineraly aroma, saaz and cat pee. Thinnish body, caramel, nice bitterness, bright and dry.

Tap at the brewery. Clear light golden with a 1 1/2 finger rocky white head great retention. Pasta and biscuit malts up front with some solid grassy and lightly spicy hops behind. Very light toastiness. Flavor is toastier with plenty of the aforementioned maltiness leading the way to a grassy bitter finish, peaking at a 3 that lingered a little while. Light to moderate carbonation with a light body. Pretty tasty and refreshing. Listed at 5.2% when I had it.

Bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet malt and grass aroma and taste with some cereal grain tastes to the fnish.
