12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with khaki head. Aroma is balanced between chocolate and roast -- right down the middle. Taste: moderate sweetness balanced with moderate bitterness. Moderation in all things. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Overall: balanced prototypical porter.

Bottle from the Snowpack mixed pack poured into a glass. Deep, dark brown pour with a slight tan head. Aroma of creamy coffee with light chocolate and bitterness. Taste is sweet, bitter, coffee, chocolate...a bit muddled. Kind of everything you would want in the style but not greatly balanced.

Jamesthebrit (281) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 24, 2014
12 oz bottle. Aroma is slightly Metalic. Almost a waxy note. Subtle hops. Looks fine. Tan head. Dark brown. Taste has some copper... Oak. Spent campfire. Seaweed. Acidic. Vanilla Palate is light medium. Acidic. Decently smooth. Very dry. Overall this is pretty good for a porter. Every flavor is very subtle and they sort of all muddle together. Decent all around but not mind blowing.

12oz bottle poured out a medium brown color with off white head that didn’t last long as all...thought it would be a bit darker but don’t let looks deceive you. aroma is roasty malts with light hints of chocolate and coffee. very little bitterness on the tongue. but you do get the roasted malts and coffee but mild as such. medium bodied. decent flavor but I have had much better porters than this but yet this one is still pretty tasty.
