3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Market Grille: Pours dark brown with a hint of red with an almost non-existent head. Aroma is very subtle chocolate, malt sweetness, and a little fruit. Taste is mild chocolate, smoke, caramel, malt, a little bitter from the hops. This is light to medium body which is really the most disappointing part of this beer. It’s not bad, it just seems watered down to me. Flavors aren’t aggressive enough.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a mahogany color with white foam. Smells mainly of yeast. A thick, robust flavor of cocoa, and coffee roasts with a very light hop finish. Tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I really liked this beer it was very smooth and didn't leave that harsh hop taste at the end. This beer was smooth all the way through.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours translucent brown with a slight white head, which dissipated quickly. Beer is bitter from start to finish. I had high hopes for this porter and it let me down. Has a lot of roasted malt flavor...good but not great.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown colour with a creamy tan head. Coffee, roasted malts and leaves in the aroma. Quite the same in the flavour, maybe a bit light chocolate in there aswell. Well balanced flavours. Medium body with soft carbonation, which creates a smooth palate. A very good porter indeed, but I’d might want a bit more punch in there.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
350ml bottle, pours clear brownish black with a medium sized creamy beige head, that reduced quite fast. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, maple syrup, caramel and a hint of coffee. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, creamy texture and average carbonation. A good porter, but a little too thin bodied.
