Good beer but real good considering they make a ton of rhis manufactured porter, somewhat lean, nice roast very dry and crisp. A good goto if other craft is not available.

Pours black with a medium head. Aroma is smokey, earth and treacle. Taste is earthy, treacle, woody. Medium carbonation. I love this.

One of the best porters I have ever tasted! This is really fantastic! It’s all in the malt. You can taste the roasted barley that lends all that rich, bitter and sweet flavors to the beer. There’s also just enough dry and spicy hops for good measure. The beer pours a very dark brown color with a beautifully sticky and lacing tan head. This body is extremely smooth and incredibly drinkable.

Pours dark with tan head. Nose is mostly malt and some roasted/coffe notes. Flavor is malty and feels a little dry. Finish lingers, again somewhat dry and strong roasted taste. Pretty tasty.

Part of my Sierra Nevada 4-pack from World Beer Market(Taniguchi). Their Porter 5.6% pours a deep black with a big fluffy head of light beige foam. The nose is roasty, savoury chocolate, light coffee and dark fruits. Medium bodied with a raspy carbonation the taste is savoury dark malts, lightly roasted with chalky chocolate and some coffee notes. A middle of the road porter but it seems to have held up better than it’s compatriots.

Dunkles Porter mit cremig-weißem Schaum. Erstes Aroma: Sehr schokoladig, später Kaffee. Geschmack: Bitterschokolade, Hopfen, etwas rauchig. Tolles Bier!

bottle. Poured opaque brown with a red hue, creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee with some sweetness. Medium-full body, thick oily mouthfeel with just a tart dry finish. Flavour is all roasted malt, notes of coffee, molasses, dark chocolate and a little sour cherry.

Klar maghonifarvet med stabilt og stort cremebrunt tæt skum. Duften er præget af malt og lakrids. Smagen er blød og mild med brændt malt, let kaffeagtig syrlighed. En let bitterhed dukker op i den syrlige eftersmag.

This is one of the better Porters, I have tried. I am quite amazed that throughout the year from the various times I have bought this porter that the year round flavor is not up and down like some breweries. Sierra Nevada has been a consistent brewer. One note with this style and this particular Porter, I found this to be the best flavored when chilled overnight.
