35cl bottle at Beach Club, Oslo. Pours clear dark brown with a tanned head. Moderate roasty aroma with notes of dark fruits, chocolate and hints of coffee and herbs. Medium sweet with moderate roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Balanced and easy to drink.

Marrón rojiza muy oscura. Abundante espuma cremosa y duradera. Aroma ricamente malteado, algo dulce y frutal. Cuerpo medio, bien carbonatada. En boca mantiene el predominio de la malta, con un sabor tostado, que también tiene recuerdo de café en el postgusto. Combina con un cierto toque picante y especiado y un regusto frutal ¿cereza?. Bastante rica, aunque lejos de la pale ale.

Dark brown clear color with some light brown foam head. Quite coffee intense smell. The taste is sweet, coffee heavy and kind of particle dusty. Like I imagining drinking strait from the coffee filter. Dry and sweet aftertaste.

Copper/brown, clear, forever persisting head. Yeasty nose. Medium body and flavor, bright, lean and beautifully balanced mouthfeel, more heat than one would expect for the abv, long but slightly weaker aftertaste. Mildly bittersweet, appropriate acidity. Roasty flavors, coffee. Good example of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Dark brown, ruby highlights at the edges, almost black in the center with a light-tan colored head; minimal lacing, moderate retention. Nose is full of roasted malts, charred barley, toasted nuts, wood chips, burnt toast, a small hint of coffee beans. Flavor is quite rich & has even larger notes of dry coffee & bittersweet cocoa dust. Underscores of roasted malt, mild char, & a hint of licorice with a small bit of acrid acidity towards the finish. Very mild hint of floral notes. Thin-medium bodied. A solid porter; no world-beater but pretty good.

Brown pour. Big tan head. Plenty of lacing. Roasted malt aroma with a brown sugar note. Taste is the same with a pleasing creamy mouth feel.
