3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Good porter that Sierra Nevada stamped with their uniqueness. The aromas where of roasted malts but not as pronounced as I would have preferred. Dark cloudy brown with not a significant head. The palate was medium-bodied with average carbonation. Strong roastiness with a nuttiness. The hops presence was definitely there, which balanced it out well.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from bier-deluxe.de. Dark brown body, with some red reflections and a small, creamy, light beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, nuts, wood, smoke, some dark fruits. Tastes of coffee, wood, dark chocolate, nuts, dark fruits, some smoke. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, with a lively carbonation and it finishes roasty, medium bitter, slightly dry, with coffee, smoky wood and slight milk chocolate notes. Overall very good, quaffable. Maybe the taste is a bit too light, but the slight smoky, wooden notes are really nice.

Surprisingly easy to drink porter, great nose and great flavour, plenty of coffee balanced by a sweet malt, a very easy to drink and tasty porter.

Draft ay Good Dog. Dark brown pour that showed as a clear ruby under bright light. Soft off-white foam. Dark nutty Porter with nice complex dark malt flavors. Enough hops in the mix to finish earthy and spicey. Reasonably full body. Not too sweet at all. Lots of burnt nut shells. Black walnuts. Bit too ascetic and astringent in the finish but otherwise top notch.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from the bottle. Comes our brown with a decent head. Smell of chocolate and not much else. Taste is smooth. Typical porter. Chocolate in the back end. Good porter you can just get in the shelf here. I’d buy it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Overall this is more like a brown ale to me. Dark, but in some light there is lots of see-through and the liquid looks brown/red-ish.
Weak aroma, hints of coffee, hints of roasted malt.
Same for the taste. Not at all unpleasant, but not what I look for in a Porter!

Medium-brown pour with small cream head. A coffee taste that is too thin for a stout, in my opinion. Not bad, bit wouldn’t drink again.
