Watery and bitter. Unmistakably a porter but that’s the best I can say for it.

Deep reddish brown. Very quick off white head pops up, but it is weak and frothy and hides until the bottom of the glass. Taste is a complex bitter that is enjoyable, but it lingers a little too long. Good beer, very drinkable for a porter, but nothing to write home about.

Bottle 355 mL, very dark beer with slightly tanned creamy head that lingers a little. aroma is very rich and intense with a marked tendency to roasted cocoa malts, the taste is sweet well balanced with the bitterness, chocolate malts very present but with a nice coffee and nuts touch, very pleasant, one of the best porters i’ve ever had and since its my 1st Sierra Nevada beer ill definitely check their others brews. great porter

@Flanagan’s.

Bottle at Klooster. Pours hazy brown with a big bubbly tan head. Aroma of roast, caramel, toffee and dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Basic but decent enough.

Good aroma. Pleasant taste at the beginning, but too fortified at the end for my tastes.

Bottled. Medium to dark brown, low head. Nose of cocoa primarily. Rather light, chocolaty flavor. A bit of roast in the finish, but not all that much. Simple but tasty enough.

350ml bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown, small fluffy off-white head. The aroma is fresh roasted malt, leather, nutty, coffee. High carbonated that give a fizzy sensation in the mouth, still creamy. Taste of herbs, roasted sweet malt, nuts, mild and smooth taste. Dry and clean finish.

Bottle. Poured dark brown with tan head. Very light tasting been, some roasted malts, slight coffee. I didn’t get to much out of this beer to be honest.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours deep brown with red hues. Two finger light tan head, moderate lacing, decent retention. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Tastes is malty sweet, lightly bitter. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes short and crisp. Tasting notes of chocolate, coffee, tree nuts, toffee and grass. A very tasty classic porter!
