Bottle: Pours a dark brown with an off white head. Aroma, roasted notes, chocolate, some fruits, caramel. Flavor, roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, coffee, faint chocolate.

May 8, 2008 Pours medium brown with thinnish white head that dissipates quickly. Notes of caramel, chocolate, roasty. Tastes a bit more subtle, with nuts, a bit of chocolate, coffee, and mild bitterness. A little thin for my taste in porters, but pretty good

May 5, 2008 Dark dark red-brown (almost black) with a small tan head. The head dissappears too quickly. Aroma is quite nice; chocolate and a hint of fruit. Flavor is mild and chocolatey with not too much hops. Palate is average. medium bodied, but a tad bit too bubbly. The flavors are well balanced here, but there is not much character.

May 5, 2008 Draft at Thorups Kælder. Average size, tan head with good lacing.Clear black body. Malt aroma of coffee, burnt/roasted malt. Light hop aroma. Medium body and a creamy texture. Well balanced flavor. A good porter.
