3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma - Heavily roasted malt. Appearance - Very dark brown with some reddish hues and a thick tan head. Flavor - The roasted malt flavor is present but unlike other porters a strong hop flavor comes out and dominates. The beer is a bit thin for a porter and could be a little smoother. Overall it is drinkable, but nothing special.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle.
Aroma is slightly Metalic. Almost a waxy note. Subtle hops.
Looks fine. Tan head. Dark brown.
Taste has some copper... Oak. Spent campfire. Seaweed. Acidic. Vanilla
Palate is light medium. Acidic. Decently smooth. Very dry.
Overall this is pretty good for a porter. Every flavor is very subtle and they sort of all muddle together. Decent all around but not mind blowing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle poured out a medium brown color with off white head that didn’t last long as all...thought it would be a bit darker but don’t let looks deceive you. aroma is roasty malts with light hints of chocolate and coffee. very little bitterness on the tongue. but you do get the roasted malts and coffee but mild as such. medium bodied. decent flavor but I have had much better porters than this but yet this one is still pretty tasty.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
very average for the style. I like Porter in general, so I’ll give it higher than a 3, but not because it stands out at all. there are better options out there."

Appearance is very dark, almost black, with hints of brown at the base. One finger foamy, light beige head which clings to the glass. Aroma- lots of cocoa and milk chocolate, coffee, roast malt, a definite hop presence. Taste- a fair bit of dark fruit and liqourice, dark, roasty malt, coffee bitterness at the end. Medium mouthfeel. Good porter.
