Among the grains used in this beer, rye causes a palate uproar, it’s peppery spice demanding attention. More humble, but no less notable are the exceptionally floral aroma and clean bitterness. Red RYEot’s flavors might be assertive, but unruly it isn’t, a modest alcohol content makes for an approachable brew.

12oz bottle. Pours amber with a nice off white head that left plenty of lacing.Similar qualities to other SN brews with added notes of rye that work well. Very drinkable.

Pours reddish amber. Scent is a touch grainy for my liking. Sweet to bitter hop flow rolls quite nicely. Draft - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA

On draft at brickstore pub. Pours copper with decent offwhite head. I swear the smell and taste are unmistakably Sierra Nevada. Nose is some dank, citrus, floral and sweet caramel malts. Taste reveals a bit of dank, floral, big maltiness. Clean, crisp, bitter, quick finish. Nice.

On tap at the brewery a few days ago. Reddish brown pour, polite hints of sweet malts, slight rye, and light pepper. Flavors bring out faint spiced grain, touches of molasses, and toast. Nice hop bittered finish with a bite.
