Six pack. Gorgeous copper ale, lasting head. Love the taste. Prominent piney hops, nice malt. Either the rye is restrained or so well integrated you can’t tell. All told, a very good IPA, though not most aggressive one.

Aroma of sharp pine and some herbs. Pours brown with a huge fluffy head. Taste is intensely bitter and hoppy. Pine, rye bread, and delicious. Great IPA.

Light caramel pour with a light tan head. Aroma is rye as is the taste. Light carbonation, nice hop balance. Little spicy hop and rye aftertaste. Nice lacing.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep orange. Refined pine, grapefruit, dried fruit, and mild rye spice in the nose. Solid grapefruit, pine, and citrus, dried fruit, ending with light peppery rye and malt fruitiness. Residual citrusy grapefruit bitterness and spice. Great stuff. No wows, just good.

12 oz bottle...spicy, dry, puckery, aromatic brew that is complex, crisp, and clean. I expected good and got great. Outstanding

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great specialty grain IPA. The nose is very hoppy mostly grapefruit with some piney notes as well. The pour yields a copper beer with a thick white head. The taste is full of grapefruit hops, pine, and that pepperiness of the rye. The body is medium and very crisp, but has a little bit of a sharp edge in the finish that is not to my liking. Great, would drink again.

Rye and dry hops are what make up this one. Good lacing and great smoothness. Good overall rye P.A. Love this brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Impressive! The peppery, hay hop scent had a sweet underbelly, especially as it warmed. The pale amber, translucent appearance held a half inch of dense head that faded to a white ring leaving an average amount of lacing. The palate was a med-light bodied crisp finish, and the taste was full of hay. Spicy pepper grassy hay hop with a citrus touch rounding back to finish right where it started with the hay hop. Delicious.

Draft at Jerry’s. Amber-gold with good, foamy, off-white head / Earthy nose of rye, citrus, and pine / Medium body, chewy and creamy, hint of sweetness, with good balance and lightly bitter finish / Flavors of earthy rye, grapefruit, and dry pine / A nice twist for SN.
