COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ruthless IPA is brewed with this rustic grain for refined flavors – combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to Spring.

Bottle. Poured amber brown woth a white head. Hoppy, spicy aroma. Starts of with a hoppy, peppery, rye flavor that fades to a nice bitterness.

bottle-Poured clear rusty color with nice rocky head. Aroma-Peppery rye malt with grassy hops. Taste is very good, peppery up front on tongue and finishes nice with crisp bite. Palate-Smooth medium body and hops linger a bit. Overall really nice beer, thumbs up SN!!

Poured into tulip from bottle, a clear rusty color with a fairly decent off white head that receded to sides off glass quickly. There was some lace. Aroma is citrus, light in tone but strong enough to pick up on the pour. Med body and slick. Taste was citrus, bread and spice. The finish malty and bitter and a little nutty. A solid, like most Sierra Nevada brews, but not mind blowing, like most S. Nevada brews. Not a bad transition to lighter warmer weather brews.

Bottle. Pours true copper, fluffy white head, lots o lace. Nose is rather plain jane. Tastes more spice than bitter. Not what I expected, so I hope this is just a bad bottle.

From bottle. Brown amber in glass. Nice funk on the nose. Big hoppy perfume. Very mild bitterness. Bread notes. Drinks nice.

Had a six pack from gas station. Pours a deep red dish amber color sort of surprising. Not a lot of hop aroma but nice bitter taste.

Mildly flavoured, dry and thin butterscotch coloured water. Aroma of caramel, grain, rye spice and nondescript earthy hops. Good appearance with its two fingers of cream head and average carbonation. If blindfold I would have thought it was traditional British IPA with rye, the flavour is flat and malty with a hint of spice and lemon. Extremely dry finish with lingering bitterness, not impressed!

Good looking ipa....but peppery taste is overpowering especially on the finish where it is most profound.
