3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nicely done IPA with rye. Medium dark amber with thick fluffy off-white head. Just the right amount of bitterness, smooth palate, dry finish. This is a really good IPA.

From a bottle. Pours dark copper brown with a creamy off white head. Tastes malty, musky with a strong hop body and aftertaste. Mild bitterness and light onion flavor. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like hops, nuts, and grassy green onion.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is dark copper with a lot of light tan tight head. Nose is mild, pine hops, light spice, dirty wheat and some bread crust. Taste is less bready, still mild pine hop with a light spice, touch of bread through the back on a smooth light body, decent carb and light abrupt bitterness in the finish.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber with white head. Spicy piney aroma. Assertive bitterness that quickly is balanced by the malt. Finishes dry with lingering bready spicy notes.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2014 Pours a very dark copper. Two finger white head. Aroma is dank citrus hops and a peppery malt scent. A little musty. Flavor is very rye-like. Peppery, bitter, hoppy. Really lets you know what rye tastes like. Good beer. Strong rye makes it not a session beer but more of a one and move on thing.

Copper pour, nice head with rings of lacing. Piney, resin hops. Taste is pepper, malts. An ok IPA. Wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it, but appreciate the offering from Sierra Nevada.

On tap @ Murphy's. Nice hoppy, piney aroma. Light tan medium bubbles head. Clear copper brown color. Nice mouth feel. Good IPA flavor. The rye plays very well with the hops and style of the beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours out a unique maroon with a tan and very fine head. Lots of pretty lacing left behind as I drink through the glass. The aroma has some dank, almost skunky hops along with alcohol and some grainy spice. Spicy rye and malt dominates the flavor, but the hops contribute some bitter pine flavors as well. The mouthfeel is amazing on this one, very fine foamy head, thick body and a little bit of sticky residue left on the lips. Not Sierra Nevada’s best seasonal, I’d be fine if they extended their Celebration IPA by a few more months instead!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours orange/copper with a short lived eggshell head. Aroma is peppery rye and resiny , herbal hops, hints of caramel. Taste is definitely full of spicy rye notes, bitter herbal and pine hops, malt backbone, bitterness lingers for a bit. Good, but i couldn’t drink a six pack of this.
