COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ruthless IPA is brewed with this rustic grain for refined flavors – combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to Spring.

Malty, hoppy and dry. Nice in the glass. Malt lasts and hint of pepper at the end. Don't mind it

citrusy, grapefruit, grassy, with some biscuity malt. Quite low on bitterness, but decent hoppiness but very malt forward. Biscuity, with a sweet feel to it even though its dry and a clear peppery note.

Tasted from draft. Pours a nice clear dark amber with white head. Not a huge aroma. Some spices and bready malt when a maybe a hint of citrus. Taste is a nice smooth well balanced bitterness. Biscuity malt backbone with spicy rye bitterness. Not as harsh tasting as most rye beers which makes it go down real easy. Very well done and balanced rye IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the best from Sierra Nevada. Balanced, and crisp, aromas of citrus and rye spice. Flavor is more of the same, but perfectly in balance from start to finish. Could drink every day.

355ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a beautiful, creamy slightly off white head. Smell is malts, caramel, some spices. Taste is malts, caramel again, can feel the rye flavor. Very good final hopping, excellent bitter aftertaste.

Nice peppery rye malt which allowed plenty of space thanks to the balanced and slightly tart bitterness. In the aftertaste I sensed a faint tone of anise.

Not as spicy as I would have thought given rye influence. Bitter aftertaste and disappointing aroma. In my view not one of their best but still a good brew

Small light beige head. Dark amber color. Well carbonated. Not much aroma. Fresh, full body. Medium bitterness. Malty.

Flaske 350ml fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Mørk gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum. Beskjeden aroma av mørk frukt. Smaken litt tung. Mørke plommer. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert og avslutter tørt.
