Ruthless IPA is brewed with this rustic grain for refined flavors combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to Spring.

Pours clear lager color with white small bubble head. Aroma is almost wheat and rye cracker. Rye is second taste and the rest is all regular sierra taste.

Earthy and malty, dry and full. Light spice, pepper, and a rolling hoppy finish. An interesting IPA.

From 12 oz. bottle into an english pint glass; a very comfortable copper tone hue resultant; and my, o my, o Hops galore; pleasantly clinging lace and very subtle bubble movements. Those, plus, Im a sucker for some real neat art work and wordage work on the labels, too.

Bottle poured into tulip. Appearance is rich copper color with moderate (half-finger) off-white head. Aroma is citrus and pepper. Taste is similar, though I can taste the rye as well. Good smooth feel to it. Im finding that Im a fan of beers with rye.

Pours a dark Cooper with an impressive off white head that slowly fades into a quarter inch cap. Lovely citrus aroma. Alternating citrus and pine flavors. Finishes with an unappealing roughness that is no doubt imparted by the rye. This is such a delightful beer! Probably would never have bought this beer, but had been curious about how it tastes. My neighbor brought some over and Im pleased he did.

Nice clear copper with an off-white head. Aroma is full of citrus and spice. Great bitter kick without being overpowering, and a touch of sweetness. Fruit, malt, and spice. Ahhh....

Pours a nice orange with creamy white head. Very aromatic beer, fresh citrus and pine notes. Grapfruit flavours, green piney notes too. Very fresh tasting. Excellent.

Dark copper in colour, good white head, hops and sweet fruit in the aroma. Peppery flavours from the Rye? Good bitter aftertaste, this is really a smashing IPA. Something different from your typical IPAs.

Dark copper amber, white head. Grain, sweet citrus orange and hops in the aroma. Seriously flavoursome, dark, almost burnt malt character, pepper, rye and a blast of bitter hops. Big bodied, quite highly carbonated. Finish is long and tends toward the acrid.

Great example of what I think should be a new style. Rye bead aroma with floral hops. Copper color with white head. Bready soft palate. Medium carbonation. Rye peppery flavors with good hops balance. Malty background that evened this out. I expected a punch in the face but was surprised at how easy to drink this was.
