Ruthless IPA is brewed with this rustic grain for refined flavors – combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to Spring.

12-oz bottle. Pours with a clear copper hued body and a large, lasting, just off-white head. Pretty decent retention with good lacing. Aromas are of spicy and citrusy. Lightly bready malt sweetness as well in the forefront. Floral and flowery with light esters. Medium grassy. Flavors are bready, grainy, lightly spicy with apricot notes. Notable rye rustic character. Crisp finish. Hops are strong, but mellowed by the rye and the sweetness of the malt. Hop flavors are piney and herbal. Good carbonation, medium bodied.

Cloudy copper color, white head. Citrus and floral nose, hints of resin and spice. Caramel and resin taste, citrus notes, peppery, moderate bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of citrus, weak coffee, nail varnish and a hint of vomit. Flavour of wood, grapefruit and green leafy hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Easy drinking but a bit dull - strange aroma, too...

Nice golden and slightly reddish color. Very thick white head. The aroma is ipa-ish. The taste also lacks the typical bitterness. Still quite a bitter aftertaste. Surprisingly flat palate for the foam it produced in the beginning. Overall I would say a good neutral IPA with something specific in the taste that i have difficult to describe but i quite like.

Bottle from systembolaget. Pour with a rich of white head. Honey and some tropical fruit. But not very hopy. Full body with great bitterness, around 10 centigrades and perfect this tropical Swedish summer evening

Brown hazy body, thin white head with a yellow tint. Faint hoppy aroma. Nice soft taste with fairly bitter after taste. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. An ok IPA, not a big fan of the rye version though.

Pours a dark amber body with a thick head. Typical IPA aroma but a balanced and a little creamy taste. Very nice for an IPA :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2 16oz drafts. Pours a deep amber with a thick lasting tan head. Notes of pine, citrus, and white bread/yeast on the end. Flavors of spicy rye malts, pine, earthy dank, and an aged citrus finish. Palate is medium carbonation, medium bodied, and medium mouthfeel. Easy drinking.

Malty, hoppy and dry. Nice in the glass. Malt lasts and hint of pepper at the end. Don't mind it

citrusy, grapefruit, grassy, with some biscuity malt. Quite low on bitterness, but decent hoppiness but very malt forward. Biscuity, with a sweet feel to it even though its dry and a clear peppery note.

Tasted from draft. Pours a nice clear dark amber with white head. Not a huge aroma. Some spices and bready malt when a maybe a hint of citrus. Taste is a nice smooth well balanced bitterness. Biscuity malt backbone with spicy rye bitterness. Not as harsh tasting as most rye beers which makes it go down real easy. Very well done and balanced rye IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
