Decent beer, not what I would expect from a beer named "Ruthless", a tad light and lacking flavor

On tap at Lanesplitter in Berkely poured a cloudy orange with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of wheat, yeast and a hint of spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, clove and yeast with a crisp lingering spiced finish.

On tap at Showbox in Seattle - how the hell did they get this? Hazy dark golden. Moderate spicy malt with some sweetness. Refreshing. One hell of a surprise when at a concert at a very non-beer joint. Far from mind-blowing, but solid.

on tap @ Blind Tiger Sierra Nevada tasting. Very nice american made hefe. Pours a cloudy light yellow. Clovy, banana light citrus aroma. Taste follows the aroma up correctly. Nice beer
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Delirium (636) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2008
Draught at 99 Bottles in Santa Cruz. Lightly cloudy yellow with a moderate white head. Aroma is light banana, somewhat sweet, with a bit of clove. Flavor is the same, with a small bit of hops in the finish, and a good bit of yeastiness. Slightly sweet, though none of the bubble-gum sweetness of some hefeweizens. Not exceptional, but solid.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ahalloin (54) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAY 17, 2008
I had this beer at the Sierra Nevada tasting at the Brickskeller in DC. Pours a yellowy-golden unfilitered (or lightly filtered as Steve Grossman said) look with a good amount of head. The head retention is fantastic. The aroma is of orange peel, clove, and maybe some banana. The beer imparts a lovely bouquet of spicy wheat, clove, and non-descript fruit in a smooth medium-sized mouthfeel.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2008
Hazy golden yellow. Aroma of wheat cereal, bubble gum, clove, and banana. The flavor is very similar. Medium carbonated, smooth, and rather light.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 illidurit (1638) - Santa Cruz, California, USA - APR 15, 2008
Slightly cloudy pastel yellow with a white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is clovey and bland with little fruitiness. Tastes like artificially banana-flavored bubblegum. Some grain and yeast but not much. Surprising lack of hops. Mouthfeel is muddy due to undercarbonation. Trying this side-by-side with a Paulaner hefe really highlights the shortcomings of this beer stylistically.
